Magical Words Publishing House (MWPH) was founded by me, D.D. Lawrance, before the publication of Midnight Nova, the first book in its series. Upon doing some extensive research, I was getting advice left and right indicating that, as a self-published author, I should come up with a name as a publisher. The reasoning behind that was: Since I would be a self-published author, I would not only be an author, but I would also be a publisher. So, of course, it made sense.
There was some more research done on my part, and I had a few names picked out as a self-publisher, making sure they didn’t already exist somewhere else. I really liked the name of one in particular because it had a nice ring to it. Thankfully that name was not already taken. Magical Words Publishing House was the name I decided to stick to.
